If Scotty From Marketing thought there wouldn’t be repercussions for relocating all of the jabs from Newcastle to Sydney while the Hunter Region was locked down, he was wrong.
This comes as the Newcastle Knights, dressed in their heritage hi-vis jerseys, snatch a finals appearance from the hands of the Cronulla Sharks with a 16-14 win at Redcliffe this arvo.
The win leaves the Knights safely in 7th spot on the ladder with 22 points with just three weeks remaining before the finals.
“We did this for all the fans back home” said Newcastle enforcer, Bradman Best in an interview moments ago.
“For those in lockdown, who have missed out on their jab bookings because the government views Novocastrians as lesser people than the darling Sydneysiders”
This follows the news that communities in the Greater Hunter Region are growing concerned many vulnerable people out that way have not received their jabs. Late last month, up to 40,000 doses will be redistributed from regional NSW to Year 12 students in the big smoke.
This has not been recieved well by the Steel City, as Bradman Best outlined.
“We had to keep Scotty’s club out of the top 8. Because without them making a finals appearance, he’ll have nothing left to spin”

“Keep Cronulla out of the eight. We want Scotty to suffer for what he has done to regional Australians”
Scotty’s club, who looked good for a win at half-time with a 12-8 lead, now fall to the bottom eight. They will need a win against Wests to claw their way back next round.
However, with South-West Sydney in Stage 4 lockdowns for eight weeks, it is expected they will be met with even more bloodlust next week from the Televised Tigers whose families and fans can’t leave the house without getting barked at by the army or police.
