Liberal Senator Michaelia Cash has had an embarrassing moment in Parliament House earlier today, after her impulsive second nature made her look like somewhat of a racist.

Which is unfair, because she definitely isn’t one – and neither are any of her colleagues. How can they be racist when they are the only ones saying NO to racism?

The ‘No’ Campaign for the upcoming Indigenous Voice referendum kicked off in Perth last week – with the Liberal Party of Australia leading the charge – both on stage, and in the newspapers.

This comes as the gravitating existential crisis faced by both the Nationals and Libs comes crashing down on the last remaining Federal and State MPs in a nation that is run by Labor in every level of government on the mainland.

This is because because referendums are rarely successful, and by channelling all of the Liberal Party’s resources and Murdoch media favours into opposing the Indigenous Voice might make their limping party appear political relevant again.

As in, if it’s an unsuccessful referendum result, the unelectable Liberals get to cheer like they’ve actually won an election!

However, in order to pull of this great heist of political point-scoring, the Liberals can’t really be seen to be bigoted – even though thats what most people would deduce when look at all of their elected officials who don’t exactly look like the archetypical voter in the multicultural Australia of 2023.

In fact, Senator Michaelia Cash is one of the few actual women in the male, pale and stale Liberals.

And this monoculture was on display today in the halls of Parliament, when Senator Cash subconsciously clutched her handbag closer – only to find out it the Indigenous man in her periphery was actually a man who is supposed to be her good friend Warren Mundine.

“Hey how ya going Mick” said Warren Mundine, a man described as ‘one of the good ones’ by the Liberal top brass.

“Oh. Warren. I.. I didn’t recognise you” said Senator Cash.

Warren appears confused.

“That’s a bit weird. Didn’t we just travel the country together and take photographs on stage for a full week?”

Senator Cash chuckles.

“Haha yeah. Thought you were someone else.”

Mundine still confused, tries his hand at a bit of Liberal Party small talk.

“Haha wonder who you thought I was. Not many people look like me in this joint. Aren’t we fighting to keep it that way? haha”

Cash sighs.

“Warren there’s no cameras around, we don’t need to actually talk to each other in moments like this”
