In an effort to confirm his own long-held suspicions and iron out some inconsistencies with some dubious RBT results, Shannon Noll has taken part in a DNA swab test, resulting in confirmation that he does indeed have blue denim in his veins.
With a joint collaboration with Ancestry.com and the Condobolin police station, the controversial muso can now officially upgrade his status from ‘everyday bloke’ to certified working class hero.
Insiders at channel 9 say that the results, coupled with decent rap sheet of alcohol-related misdemeanours, mean that the Australian Idol runner-up is now a a real chance at having a mini-series made about him, most likely titled “Nollsy”.
Former Australian Idol judge, Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson says the results come as no surprise.
“I knew it from the moment I saw him perform Barnesy’s Working Class Man in the 2003 finals dash. He even sang about having blue denim in his veins”
Working class icon and musical maestro, Jimmy Barnes, says he had no doubts that Noll’s DNA test would come back with these results.
“As the first person the recognise the trend of working class Australians having blue denim in their veins – I can tell you, Shannon was always someone that I thought would believe in God and Elvis”
“He gets out when he can. Hence his recent incident at the Crazy Horse”
