Days after surviving an attempted assassination, former US president Donald Trump has once again been swept off stage by secret service guards, minutes after he took to the stage to make his first speech since the shooting.

While addressing the crowds at the Republican National Convention (RNC) today, Trump was expected to officially accept his party’s nomination.

He had only just began the hotly-anticipated speech when he was interrupted by the sounds of smashing glass through the PA system.

This noise was followed by a roar from the crowd, who were instantly left confused about where their loyalties lie.

Would they continue supporting their beloved former President, or would they jump ship to Austin 3:16.

Sprinting from from the back of the Milwaukee convention centre was the undefeated hero of the American working class ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

It is unknown how Austin was able to bypass security guards to enter the RNC venue. However, it seems that these kinds of lapses in the safety of the Former President are quite common these days.

It is also not clear whether Austin had arrived to actually endorse the President, or if he was there to open a can of whoop ass?

Trump was bundled off stage and swept away by security before Austin could get to the stage, leaving fans disappointed that they were robbed of a possible rematch between the two.

Both Stone Cold and President Trump have history, dating back to WrestleMania 23 in 2007, when Austin ‘stunnered’ the New York Billionaire, a betrayal that happened moments after the two of them had teamed up to shave WWE owner Vince McMahon’s head.

However, whatever message Austin had to send to the President will have to wait for another day, as Trump was last seen leaving the convention centre in a blacked of SUV moments ago.

With Hulk Hogan addressing the RNC crowd moments ago, it is not yet known if the beer-swelling Texan known as Stone Cold is also a supporter of Donald Trump – or if he had arrived in Milwaukee with plans to repeat the carnage of 2007.

All will be revealed at the next Friday Night Smackdown, scheduled for the 16th of August in Orlando, Florida.
