A die-hard Wallabies fan says Australian rugby is in such a poor state because the growing underclass don’t understand or care about the gentleman’s game.

John Whyte-Birmingham’s comments come after the All Blacks destroyed the Wallabies 54-34 in their Bledisloe Cup encounter in Sydney last night.

With the final scoreline in fact looking quite generous to the Wallabies, who were outclassed and outrun by their New Zealand rivals, who notched a score of 54-6 early in the second half courtesy of eight tries.

“I know we it can’t be an issue of marketing” he says.

“I can’t drive through three blocks through the North Shore without seeing a billboard of Issy’s head – I think the issue is that bogan’s don’t like nice things”

“They don’t want to succeed in a sport enjoyed by bankers or judges. Australians would just prefer to see a fist fight in a car park”

It was the most points the All Blacks had ever scored against the Wallabies, who were able to spend the night out of suicide watch, after eventually grabbing some much-needed consolation tries in the second half.

“We should not have to lose like this. The boarding schools are doing their jobs, it’s just that New Zealand and South Africa have a willing-white trash community. Australia doesn’t”

“They have been told the rugby league is fine. Well, it isn’t. It’s gross”

Last night’s loss came as a boot in the ribs for Australia’s provincial teams, who could not record a single win against their New Zealand counterparts during the Super Rugby season.
