Like many foolish people before him, local bloke Jerry Hutton [31] had 100% faith that he would effortlessly nail a yoga class, seeing as he’s always considered himself to be a pretty fit person.
Citing his intermittent CrossFit classes and the years he spent playing school boy footy as proof of his physical prowess, Jerry had thought absolutely nothing of it when a friend asked him to try a Vinyasa yoga session – in fact, it wouldn’t’ be a far cry to say that Jerry was positive he was going to ‘absolutely nail it.’
But when he’d rocked up to the 5:30 am session at French Quarter’s most popular studio, ‘The Gushing Flow, Jerry was to experience the shock of his lifetime, as the sport he’d always equated to being ‘stretchy shit’ was some of the hardest exercise he’d ever done in his ‘entire life.’
Spotted looking rather red faced as he chatting to his friend, Jerry admitted it was ‘surprisingly hard and fast’ and he’s not sure his hips were ‘supposed to crack like that’, before sheepishly muttering something about having not as much upper body strength as he thought.
More to come.
