While era-appropriate styles can certainly lead to some cringey photos with attempted gang signs, it is universally agreed that beanies are a cool person hat.
The only problem with these dope lids is that you look like an idiot if you wear them in warm weather, proving not everyone can be cool every day of the year, not even Tony Hawk or a Betoota Advocate writer.
One person stoked for the cooler weather is a man who was literally a hipster before hipsters went mainstream.
Although unable to remove his moustache finger tatt as easily as evidence of his slur laden screenplay, recovering hipster Taylor Gerald has cracked open a can of IPA to celebrate a chance to hide his fractured hairline.
“And for fuck’s sake, it’s cold! Don’t you realise that uncovered skin can feel uncomfortable in cold weather?” asked Gerald, turning the script on us by asking us the hard hitting questions.
“Real original guys. Do you know bald men are the last group of people we are allowed to body shame?”
“And short men too. And I’m a bit of both so excuse me if I don’t want to get interviewed.”
At the time of writing it is believed that we don’t necessarily need to make a comment on the appearance of someone just because they’re there, but the days are long and it’s our job, so sorry Gerald.
