A local mother is feigning interest in Fender Stratocasters this afternoon, after falling in love with a rather handsome guitar salesman.

After dropping off her son Stuart at music lessons, The Advocate understands Julie Henderson (43) was asked to stop by Betoota’s premier music store ‘Axes & Saxes, on an errand to buy her son some more guitar picks.

It was here during her quick trip in-store Julie met metalhead heartthrob, Brad Pittman, a well known axe slayer who’s talented fingers play lead guitar for local metalcore band ‘My Dying Wish’.

Boasting a 6ft3 frame, sharp jaw and an effortlessly tangled mane of angelic hair, it’s believed Brad’s likeness to one Jason Momoa swept the Mother of three off her feet.

“How can I help you, ma’am?” swooned Brad, his kind eyes offering far more than just retail assistance.

“Oh, uhhh just just need some guitar picks for my son…”, stumbled Julie, blushing profusely as she gazed into his crystal blue eyes.

After paying $8 for a handful of picks and ungraciously stuffing them into her handbag, it’s believed Julie decided that today was a suitable day to begin browsing some potential birthday presents for her son.

Strolling between rows of Fender and Gibson guitars, witnesses say Julie appeared quite pleased to be followed by her handsome salesman, as he offered some extra helpful advice for her journey throughout store.

“Would this one be a good one for him, he likes playing Metallica?” asked Julie, as she attempted to pick out a guitar off the array of timber and strings hanging on the wall.

Struggling to lift a hollow body Gretsch guitar off its wall hooks, Julie reportedly appeared pretty captivated, as she watched her dashing assistant lean tall and grab hold of the instrument with his flexing sinewy arms.

“Oh, it’s nice guitar isn’t it, my little Stu would love it,” said Julie as her eyes gasped at the price tag.

“I might have to come back a few times to pay it off, do you do Layby?”

More to come.
