Betoota’s French Quarter has this week been subject to a dramatic intervention.
The cause for consternation comes after friends and family of Bridget Wilson realised that the young professional doesn’t own a single pair of white sneakers.
Yep, you are reading that right.
Not a single pair of Veges, or Adidas, or Pumas. Nothing.
The shocking revelation came to light after friends of Wilson turned up at her place for pre-drinks before heading into the city.
After some community consultation on an outfit for the evening, friends of Wilson suggested she actually just go the jeans and Veges.
However, the stock standard suggestion left the group shocked to the core, when Wilson said she actually doesn’t own a pair of white sneakers.
Her friends initially assumed she was joking, laughing off the ‘silly comments’ before realising the earth shattering fact.
After trying to navigate through the sticky situation, Bridget was then subject to a sit down with some of her nearest and dearest immediately brought in for the intervention.
“Bridget, we all care about you and love you,” began her friend.
“We just want to know how this happened, and help you work through it,” she continued.
Bridget then broke down in tears revealing she actually doesn’t like the style and has hidden that fact for years.
“It’s just not me, but I’m willing to change for those around me.”
