A local man today stands accused of being a little bit too specific with his dating profile having filled his ‘about me’ section with a series of traits he’s looking for in a partner, instead of offering any information about himself.
While it’s expected that a dating profile description should at least involve some hobbies (or be left blank if you just want a root!) Adrian Manning, 38 has instead tried to appeal to the female demographic by making it very clear what he wants.
“Under 25, brunete, long hair, outdoorsy, no single mums must want kids”, Adrian wrote in his profile, unaware that he’s actually in full control of who he swipes right on so he doesn’t actually need to specify any of that, “must be fit and into 4WD.”
“NO VAPERS.”
Unbeknownst to Adrian, his profile will not only deter women who don’t fit his exact description, but also women who do – as anyone with an ounce of self respect will steer clear of a man who thinks women are one dimensional creatures designed to fit perfectly into his life with no interests or ambitions of their own.
