PR specialist Abigail Brown has earned herself some words of praise from colleagues today, after rocking up to the office wearing a stunning new outfit.
Despite messaging in Slack to say she’d be a couple of minutes late due to a ‘traffic jam’, Abigail could be seen strutting in at roughly 9:15 this morning carrying a large skinny cappuccino and pistachio croissant – or her ‘Friday treat’ as she likes to call it.
Dramatically plinking her marble laptop case on the table to signal her arrival, Abigail’s presence was quickly met with a chorus of compliments, which is just one of the many perks of working in a female dominated environment.
“Oh my gosh Abby, love your outfit!”, cooed her work bestie and fellow PR specialist, Jasmine, “where did you get it?”
Brushing off some pastry flakes from her pants, Abigail gives her mate the rundown.
“The top is from Glassons”, she says, gesturing to her white tank top, “and the jeans and claw clip are from Cotton On.”
“Earrings Lovisa.”
“The bag is from…um…”
“It’s from Shein…”
“I KNOOOOW, I know, It’s just so cheap and I have no money.”
