Betoota Heights mum Julie Hope [43] has today found herself revisiting her younger years, after a cursory snoop over her daughter Dana’s shoulder saw her copping an eyeful of a very racy Tik Tok video of 90s era Hayden Christensen.
It’s alleged Julie’s attention was piqued when she heard a snippet of the same music playing over and over again in the lounge room, which unbeknownst to her, meant that her daughter was heavily invested in a ten second thirst edit – and who could blame her, Hayden really was a babe.
“Oh I used to be so in love with him”, Julie sighed, immediately breaking Dana’s reverie and scaring the shit out of her, “god he was a hunk.”
“Mum yuck.”
Plonking herself down on the couch as she ushers her daughter to bust out the search engine, Julie thinks back to some of the other floppy haired, squinty eyed white boys she had plastered on her bedroom wall, and offers up some more eye candy to ogle at.
“You should look up a young Josh Hartnett, he was kind of like our generation’s…Ryan Gosling?”
“I wonder what happened to him, he just kind of went off the map…”
“Oooh, and Christian Slater was a massive babe too, absolutely gorgeous in Heathers.”
“Freddie Prince Jr…Chad Michael Murray…”
“They don’t make them like that anymore.”
“They’re all rather…boring now, aren’t they?”
