A local woman is this evening seething in her seat after she ordered fish fingers at 14 Wilson St, one of Betoota’s top Italian restaurants, despite spending the best part of the last three days studying the menu.
This week Clancy and Errol sat down with the iconic John Safran. Have a listen here:
“I don’t know what happened,” says a distraught Claire Douglas.
“I have been looking at the menu for the past three days, I’d even decided what I wanted”
“I don’t know what came over me”
“Oh well, I’ll just have some of Jim’s”
However, upon speaking with Jim, The Advocate can confirm that she’ll only get a mouthful of his feed.
“This is her bed, she can lie in it”
“She has been studying this menu like it’s her HSC or something”
“If she can’t make a decision then that’s her problem.”
At the time of print Claire had just placed a second order of garlic bread in hopes of filling up on that delicious delicacy and not noticing the pain and regret she feels from ordering what is basically a frozen meal.
More to come.
