A lucky little boy had a fortune visit from the sandman last night, having the most marvellous dream where he met his footy heroes before waking up and going to work.

The news about construction worker Broden Milton’s (38) most amazing dream reached our reporting team when Milton’s co workers stated they were sick of hearing about their colleagues dream.

“Seriously can one of youse just talk to him for a bit, I’m sick of hearing about it,” stated one of Milton’s co workers who stormed off before he gave us his name.

Upon being asked about what it was like for a mortgage having father of three like Milton to have a dream where he met his footy heroes, Milton invited us to pull up a milk crate and get comfy while he wastes our time.

“So like, we were at Suncorp Stadium but it wasn’t Suncorp Stadium if you know what I mean?” stated Milton, recounting the thought soup his brain made in his sleep.

“The seats were the colour of those late ‘90s teal jerseys and they were sort of swaying in the breeze a little bit.”

“Anyway, I start kicking the footy around and low and behold Locky actually catches it! He puts on his step and is running around me but I tackled him! I mean I actually tackled him!”

“So he gets up and I notice that it’s not Locky in his prime, he’s Locky now, like he looks like he does when he’s doing sideline work but anyway, but anyway he tells me that’s the best tackle he’s ever seen and brings Tallis, Webcke and Langer on the field and they tell me it was a great tackle too!

“Also, Luke Brooks was there randomly. Locky told me he’s actually a really cool guy and is signing with the Broncs soon. He was a nice guy actually, I told him I was sorry the media goes in on him so hard and he accepted my apology. Top bloke.”

“We started a little three on three but then my bloody alarm went off! I hit snooze hoping I could get back to it a little bit, at least for long enough to show Langer my boot but it was no luck.”

“I just dreamt I was getting up and getting ready for work in my house but like it wasn’t my house if you know what I mean?”
