In the aftermath of the spicy cough and the last people who care about the Oscars being ironed-on film students, Hollywood is adopting a new formula for guaranteed success.

During the past eight years, USA based film studios have been taking about as much risk as a homeschooled kid on holidays in Adelaide, producing only films that sit within a well established cash cow of a franchise.

Recently, while studios have still been sticking to their guns like a Republican after a wank, they have challenged the formula by making shocking movies that produce some absolute pearlers of memes.

For instance, Morbius is a super villain origin story starring Jared Leto, paying tribute to the early noughties era of comic book films that weren’t so bad they are good but rather so bad drinking your own bile through a hole in your stomach might be a nicer alternative.

Despite widespread calls for the entire production crew to be forced into some form of community service, the film led to highly acclaimed memes such as ‘It’s Morbin’ Time.’

Similarly, a sequel to a movie called Dr Strange was likewise memed for having intelligent characters that lacked common sense while the minions origin film has prompted swarms of youths to show up at the cinema in full suit attire.

“Gosh, I wish this could have been a trend when we released Mortdecai,” stated one film exec who was a few ironic views away from paying off his son’s people smuggling yacht.

“People could have come to the cinemas dressed as a pile of shit!”
