A former country girl turned city professional is glued to her phone today, taking voyeuristic pleasure in witnessing some seriously spicy hometown drama unfold on Facebook.
Despite spending the last six years living in the city with no intention of ever moving back to the quaint town she once called home, 25-year old Paralegal Caitlin Andrews admits the chaos unfolding on Facebook is too good to simply ignore.
After reading several cryptic Facebook statuses posted by local beautician and Queen of Drama Kaylee Edwards (24), it appears questions are being publicly raised about her dating timeline and subsequent biological father of her two year old son, ‘Jaxson’.
Kaylee’s decision to post “All u talkin’ behind my back r gonna get it. Sick of this shit” was met with rapturious gossip, as local towns folk engaged in a highly public forum of debate and discussion.
Buckets of petrol were soon added to the fire, when Kaylee followed up the attention seeking post by uploading a YouTube link to Rhianna’s 2006 Pop Classic ‘Unfaithful’.
Speaking to The Advocate, Andrews admits the hometown drama was just the right tonic for an otherwise boring day in her city law firm and has agreed to call in the big guns and find out what’s actually going on.
“I’ve got some boots on the ground with hot intel, don’t you worry,” said Andrews.
“My best friend from school Jess still gets her nails done where Kaylee works.”
“I have full faith that she’ll send me 10 minutes worth of voice messages tonight explaining the whole sitch. You know, she might even draw me a diagram.”
“Personally I just hope it’s that fuckwit Ryan who has done the dirty on her. Ever since primary school I never liked that dickhead.”
