A local woman has today decided that she’d much rather put herself out by booking an appointment with a salon that has an online booking system, even if it means she has to drive out further or risk a drop in quality.

Laura Manning, an introverted software developer from Betoota Heights, tells our reporter (via Email) that she only ever books appointments at places with online booking options, because the idea of picking up the phone and making a phone call puts the fear of god in her – which makes absolutely zero sense, given she’s booking an appointment to get needles stuck in her face.

“I use the book online option for everything. Doctor appointments, haircuts, beauty treatments.”

“I don’t care how high the star rating of a place is.”

“If they don’t book online, I’m not going.”

Though the option to book online is common in big cities, Betoota has been a bit slow to implement the technology, which means Laura has been left with few options.

“All places have emails, but it can be hard to get onto someone.”

“I did eventually find a place though. ‘Bella Cosmetix.’

“I dm’d them on Instagram.”

Googling the clinic, our reporter struggles to find the business on Google or any customer testimonials.

“I’m sure it’ll be fine”, writes Laura, “it’s only lip filler.”

More to come.
