A Sydney finance worker is pondering if he has what it takes to pull off cowboy boots without looking like an absolute nonce, after getting back into the new season of Yellowstone on Stan
Tyler Loosemore [29] told The Advocate he thinks he might have been able to get away with it because he already sports a pair of RM’s – which though appear as if they’ve been crafted with bushmen in mind, are more likely to be worn by white-collar workers.
“I mean, it’s kind of a look getting round, and I am originally from the bush,” he mused.
Nonetheless, Tyler is still a little bit wary about getting away with a new style, seeing as he was once called the Wiggle man for three weeks straight after rocking up to the pub sporting a bright yellow shirt.
“Look, I’m going to The Dutton Ranch Watering Hole at Surly’s this weekend, so maybe this is the time to give it a crack,” he laughed, referencing the Yellowstone takeover of the popular American tavern in Sydney.
“What do chicks call it? A soft launch?”
“If they say anything I can just say I’m in character.”
Letting out a nervous laugh, Tyler says he’s also dying to get Akubra but says he can already imagine how creative his nicknames would be if he went full hog.
“I know for sure they’ll call me Barnaby Joyce.”
“Unless you think I could get away with it?”, he asks hopefully, to which our reporter shrugged.
“Yeah alright fair haha,” he laughed.
“Maybe I’ll just leave that to the boys and gals in Yellowstone on Stan”
“Anyway I’m off to eat my weight in wings and rip into a few Buds,” he laughed, peeling off to Sydney’s Surry Hills.
