A local city girl on a pilgrimage from Melbourne to Sydney has struggled to keep the drool in her mouth while passing through several neglected country town vinnies.
“I just know there’s some seriously good stuff in there — so many community minded country folk that donate clothes, yet so few girls to pillage it and re-sell them for x10 the price — it’s a gold mine” explained Sarah Foggerty (27).
Sarah, who’s ussually competing with hundreds of other scavengers in the bussling op-shops of inner city Melbourne has said that regional Australia might actually be worth the trip sometime.
Just like a 19th century gold prospector, Sarah has identified an untapped source for extreme wealth.
“I can already see it,” she said, eyes glinting. “Vintage leather jackets for $5, designer bags for $3—this is my moment!”
Sarah plans to make a strategic stop in every small town along the way, hoping to fill her trunk with treasures that will soon grace the racks of her Depop store.
As Sarah drives further into the heart of regional Australia, she’s already dreaming of the wealth she is going to accumulate at her weekend market stall.
