I HAD IT FIRST: Local fashion fiend Maddie Clarke, 26, has reportedly entered full combat mode as the countdown begins for the Bassike warehouse sale this weekend.
Known for her love of minimalist chic and a well-timed bargain, Maddie has been spotted sharpening her elbows—and her claws—in preparation for what she calls “the Hunger Games of fashion.”
“This isn’t just a sale; it’s a survival of the fittest,” Maddie declared, “last year, I missed out on the perfect organic cotton blazer because some lady king hit me as I was reaching for the coat hanger. Not this time.”
Friends claim Maddie has been training for the event with a mix of pilates and high-intensity cardio, ensuring she can outdo rival shoppers.
“She’s also got a plan,” said her roommate, Tara, “First the pants section, then the oversized shirts. She’s even mapped out the layout based on last year’s sale.”
Maddie has allegedly cleared her Saturday schedule and prepped a tote bag big enough to rival a Bassike coat’s oversized silhouette.
