A self-proclaimed nonconformist has been forced to reevaluate her entire personality today, after her Spotify Wrapped revealed her most-played artists of 2024 were Charlie XCX, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, and Chappell Roan.
Emily Mandrake, 28, who has spent most of her adult life claiming she’s “not like other girls,” was blindsided by the data, which she insists is incorrect.
The shocking results have rocked Emily’s identity, which is largely built on quirky but vague aesthetic choices, such as op shopping and owning a record player she never uses, and the internalised self misogyny that comes with growing up on movies that always make girly girls the villain.
However, instead of accepting that she’s a basic bitch (which is totally okay!) Emily insists the data must be wrong.
“Ewm I don’t listen to Drake. And I swear I only listened to Chappell a few times.”
