A woman on the hunt for a new pair of sturdy work boots has experienced a bit of shock this morning, after briefly mistaking the povo New Zealand price tag for the real price, it’s reported.

Explaining that this is not the first time this has happened, Mikayla Tran, 26, says she doesn’t understand why price tags have both an Australian and New Zealand price, only that she feels very, very sorry for her Kiwi brethren.

“It gets me every fucking time I go shopping”, explains Mikayla, shaking her head, “because the New Zealand price is usually listed first.”

“It’s always at least 15% higher than the Australian price.”

“Can they fucking cross it out or something?”

“No wonder they’re all moving over here.”

More to come.
