A French Quarter woman who was nice enough to take photos of a girls outing has been accused of holding the images hostage this week, as her mates report that she still hasn’t uploaded them to the group chat, despite the outing occurring a week ago.,
Vanessa Aires, 27 is alleged to have responded multiple times that she will upload the photos ‘soon’ or ‘when she gets home’, despite the simple action only requiring thirty seconds of effort.
Her friends speak to The Advocate to vent their frustrations.
“We ended up going to Skii bar, which overlooks the entire city”, explains Sheevaun, Vanessa’s best work friend, “so we thought it’d be nice to take some photos in front of the sunset.”
“I think we forced the poor bartender to take 100 of them.”
Sheevaun says she’d immediately asked Vanessa to upload the photos into the group chat, but was assured they’d all be uploaded later.
“I’ve asked so many fucking times, I swear at this point, it must be some weird power struggle.”
Vanessa’s friend Tara concludes that she has also tried to get these photos, to no success.
“I’ve asked her several times and she’s just stopped responding.”
Reaching out to Vanessa, our reporter is quickly able to discern that she does, in fact, seem to get some sick thrill from it.
“Haha yeah I knowww, I’ll get around to it haha”, says Vanessa, insincerely, “I’ve just been so busy.”
