Concerns for the wellbeing of a local mate have been abated this evening, after hearing the muffled sound of a TikTok scroll.
Alice West had initially raised concerns amongst her housemates, after remaining unsighted for the better part of 24 hours.
While she had sporadically reacted to messages, Alice had remained unseen since returning from a pretty large couple of days in Sydney.
Flying into Betoota Domestic Airport very late last night, the local Mardi Gras reveller had made straight to her room after managing to maintain conversation for no longer than 60 seconds.
Since that arrival no trips to the toilet or fridge had been observed by any of her 3 housemates, with questions about her wellbeing raised.
However, with a couple of stifled TikTok wormholes heard by her friends in the last few hours, a sigh of relief has been breathed throughout the French Quarter share house.
“She also thumbs downed a message I sent asking if she wants dinner. So, she’s still breathing,” laughed another resident of the sharehouse.
“She’s alive, but just not kicking I don’t think.”
“We all saw her trail of Instagram stories,” he laughed.
“Particularly the close friends stories.”
“Let’s just say she lived over the weekend”
“And I don’t know if she slept.”
“Apart from maybe on the plane home.”
“I’m hoping we might see her tomorrow night, but it will probably be Wednesday morning in all likelihood.”
More to come.
