A local woman, Kara Mitchell (28) who just wanted to get rid of a few stray chin hairs has ended up with enough skincare products to start her own pharmacy.
Kara, a self-confessed people pleaser and casual 3-step skincare user, took a trip to her local laser clinic for what she thought would be a quick 15-minute session. However, things took a turn when the clinic’s aesthetician suggested she”try out” just a few skincare items, “to shrink those large pours of yours.”
What began as a polite “sure, I’ll give that serum a go,” quickly turned into a full-scale skincare regime. By the end of the session, Kara was holding bags of products that promised to exfoliate, hydrate, brighten, tighten, tone, and transform her into some sort of glistening deity.
“I didn’t even need half of this stuff,” Kara explained, staring at a mysterious jar of eye cream that cost more than her electricity bill. “But she said my skin could really benefit from it, and I just… couldn’t say no.”
While Kara has no plans to use all 18 bottles, she remains optimistic about her newly acquired glow-up. “At least I’ll have enough products to get me through to retirement,” she sighed.
More to come.
