A report by the Betoota Dads Foundation (BDF) has found that any time dad is awoken against his will counts as ‘the middle of the night’.

The report is 18 years in the making and was partially delayed by the BDF as they always pointed at a poster of a square stone with ‘TUIT’ written on it and declared that “one day they would get a round tuit haha.”

Last week the controversial report was finally released and determined that any time between the hours of 12am and 11:59pm count as ‘the middle of the night’ when dad needs to sleep.

Although dad’s are occasionally woken up by children playing silly buggers at late night hours, the report found the direction the earth is facing in relation to the sun has little to do with what is and isn’t dad’s sleepy time.

“Guys it’s the middle of the bloody night!” exclaimed dad/test subject Terry Caddo (49), as he berated his kids at 8am on Saturday morning.

“You know I need my sleep on the weekends, I’ve been sick probably!”

MORE TO COME.
