A local online socialite has conceded that she is experiencing FOMO from the Olympic village.
Despite Jessica Rose (26) being one of those girls that refused to run in PE class, she has bravely admitted that she would love to be involved in all the tea that must be going down at the Olympic village.
Despite zero sporting background or interest, Jessica says that it’s a huge shame that the Olympics hasn’t yet introduced a pilates event.
“It just seems so unfair that ONLY elite athletes can go to the village, it’s not often I can’t go to a party. Fingers crossed they introduce a pilates event”
Jessica’s fears of missing out are not unique. Around the world many social media influencers are for the first time feeling the full force of not being invited to a social event.
“It’s some of the worlds fittest people from every country all in the same place! I just wish I could be there.”
“There must be so much goss” Jessica lamented.
With the Olympic village having a strict ‘athletes only’ rule, some have said that opening up high priced tickets to stay at the village could be a brand new revenue stream for the games.
“We know that this would be a premium, exclusive product that many would pay top dollar for” Said one Olympic official.
“There’s nothing stopping us from becoming a high-end social attraction the same way we are a sporting attraction”
“We could potentially be doubling our revenue stream if we went through with this.”
