The Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney has been praised today, after unveiling a touching new tribute to former Cardinal George Pell.
After a big day of cutting off ribbons for survivors of child sexual abuse, the people who run the Catholic building of worship have unveiled a lovely new public urinal.
The move has certainly raised eyebrows around the country, as it seems to directly contradict NSW state laws which make public urination an offence.
However, given the church’s ability to break the law and remain immune from the repercussions of breaking the law, it’s assumed that new urinal won’t cause too many issues.
The unveiling of the place for people to do a piss comes after a day of clashes out the front of St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney, with loyal Christians turning out to mourn a pedophile who helped protect other pedophiles for the majority of his life.
The lavish burial comes despite the charity (for tax purposes) refusing to pay compensation to victims who suffered immeasurably at the hands of the clergy.
When contacted for comment about the new urinal, the Archbishop seemed somewhat confused and disinterested in taking credit for the new public space.
