After months of agonising over what to put on the glaring white wall above their large leather lounge, local couple Steve and Jess Parry have decided that what their humble living room really needed was a personal touch: a blurry, oversized canvas print of themselves.

Not knowing the difference between PNGs and JPEGS, the couple were a little sad to discover the print came out a bit pixellated but can’t be fucked printing something else.

“I thought of getting one of those beach canvas prints because I’m really into the coastal theme”, explained Jess, who lives hours away from the nearest beach, “but this will do. It’s a bit blurry but it does the job.”

The Parry’s say they spent no more than 25 minutes choosing the perfect Kmart canvas, with Steve uploading a photo he found on an old USB stick buried under his computer desk.

“It was from our wedding five years ago. I don’t have the original anymore, but I found some photos in an old Facebook album,” said Steve.

The canvas now holds pride of place above their couch, between the faux Monstera plant and the ceramic Buddha that Jess got from Marketplace a few years ago.

More to come.
