A casual conversation about unconventional childhood crushes has a woman rethinking her relationship today, after learning that her boyfriend’s idea of ‘unconventional’ is one of the hottest women to ever exist.
Having stumbled on the topic on Tik Tok, known as ‘hear me out’, Hayley Whitlock, 28 thought it’d be a fun bonding experience with her boyfriend to share their whackiest childhood crushes, expecting him to mention at least one cartoon.
Unfortunately Hayley discovered that Ethan lacks imagination, which she should have known already, given that his current celeb crush is Sydney Sweeney.
“I listed all of mine and he said I was fucking weird”, says Hayley, who mentioned Gil from Finding Nemo, Kovu from the Lion King 2, the sabre tooth tiger from Ice Age and the mean grasshopper in Antz, “and then he asked if I was a furry.”
“He just doesn’t get it.”
Hayley says she thought Ethan would at least say someone like Shego from Kim Possible. Or even Lola Bunny, for Christ sake.
“He said Megan Fox.”
