In a baffling display of social faux pas, local woman Tiffany Carr (26) unwittingly triggered a wave of collective eye-rolls by bringing her boyfriend, Mitch Jones, to a girls’ night at a wine bar in Betoota’s French Quarter.

What was meant to be a sacred space for wine-fueled gossip and emotional venting quickly derailed when Tiffany strolled in, hand-in-hand with Mitch, who looked like he’d rather be anywhere else.

“Isn’t this supposed to be our night?” whispered Jess, one of Tiffany’s friends, who had been eagerly anticipating an unfiltered chat about her relationship troubles—now impossible with Mitch lurking around, sipping a beer like he was at the pub.

“We shouldn’t have to specify that girls’ night means… GIRLS NIGHT,” another friend, Nina, muttered under her breath.

Blissfully unaware of the tension, Tiffany treated the evening like any other couple’s outing, clinging to Mitch’s arm and gushing about how much they love doing everything together. “It’s like they can’t spend more than five minutes apart,” sighed Nina. “We’re starting to wonder if they have one of those weird co-dependent relationships”.

Despite the palpable awkwardness, Tiffany’s enthusiasm didn’t wane; she even encouraged Mitch to share his thoughts on ‘girl stuff,’ like skincare routines and situationships.

While the girls remained polite, sources confirmed the creation of a separate group chat without Tiffany, titled ‘Never Again’. “If she brings him to brunch next week, I’m done” the opening message read.

Whether Tiffany will catch the hint remains to be seen.
