In some breaking news from across the ditch, the All Blacks have named their team for the Bledisloe decider this weekend.

Sensationally, for the first time in well over a decade, the All Blacks have only named 15 players, rather than the customary 16 players they normally do.

This traditional XV man announcement comes after referee Jerome Garces was forced to show Kiwi lock Scott Barrett a straight red for a blatant shoulder to the head on Wallabies captain Michael Hooper.

Speaking to media this morning, All Blacks coach and man with the easiest job in the sporting world, Steve Hansen said that he was disappointed he had to leave the normal 16th player on the field out.

“Etz unfourchunet obveusly, but et iz what et iz,” said the man who led Wales to a 33% win record during his multi-year tenure there.

The ommission of the 16th man comes amongst a raft of other changes, including the dropping of wings Reiko Ioane and Ben Smith as well as Joe Moody, in a move that reeks of a bit of panic.

The Wallabies are yet to name their team, but it’s believed that everyone within the organisation is actual hopeful for once.
