The recent release of Netflix’s much anticipated Michael Jordan documentary, The Last Dance, has brought a lot of happiness to the lives of basketball fans and novices alike. Despite it being the only documentary that takes viewers behind the scenes of the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls, local know-it-all Andrew Tollin seems to think he knows more about Jordan’s life than the official documentary.
Messages from Andrew came flooding into the friendship group’s sports chat just minutes into the first episode, with Andrew desperate to almost one-up the information being shared in the documentary.
“Yeah remember I told you that about him ages ago?”
“I’ve always said he is the GOAT”
“I’ve always known he was competitive, what a legend.”
All the while Andrew’s friends reframed from engaging in Andrew’s obvious desperation for acknowledgement, until he sent one message that was too ridiculous to not respond to.
“Did you know he doesn’t like capsicum?”
It was this stupid and ridiculous fact that caused Trent to snap.
“Maate, shut up with your stupid Jordan facts. We get it, you watch more basketball than us. Is that what you wanted to hear?”
At the time of press, Andrew had not replied to Trent’s message, also it remains to be proven whether or not Jordan likes capsicum.
More to come.
