A Collingwood Magpies supporter named Kayden Watts has confirmed that he’s changed his tune on security guards drastically over the last couple of days.
The 31-year-old construction manager did so after seeing the footage NBA star Ben Simmons posted on his Instagram following being allegedly racially profiled at Melbourne’s Crown Casino.
Watts revealed today, that although he has spent his entire adult life seeing bouncers and security guards as his sworn mortal enemies, ‘they did nothing wrong’ by refusing Ben Simmons entry.
The man who booed Adam Goodes for ‘milking free kicks’ explained to The Advocate that Ben Simmons didn’t get let in because he didn’t adhere to the dress code.
“He was wearing camo pants, so he didn’t get in,” said Watts who had a punt at Crown last weekend in footy shorts.
Despite Simmons assuring the world that his mate was also wearing camouflage pants and was let in, Watts said he isn’t having any of it.
“Nah mate seccies have a job to do,” said the young man who has verbally abused security guards multiple times in the last couple of months.
“I don’t care who you are, but they should be respected unless they are evicting someone from the footy for being unruly.”
“Then they deserve to have a beer and abuse thrown at them.”
