Brad Fittler has opened up about his deepest concern ahead of the series-deciding Origin game tonight.
The somewhat unconventional Aquarius has revealed that he’s extremely nervous about that fact that Mercury has gone into retrograde.
For those not schooled in astrology, Mercury entered retrograde on July the 7th when it began to ‘move in the oppositive direction to the Earth’s orbit around the sun,’ and will remain so for another couple of weeks.
During this time astrologers believe the planet responsible for communication and technology’s changed orbit affects everything here on earth.
Mercury retrograde is blamed for everything from miscommunication to technological bugs, botched business deals, missed flights, a mechanical issue with your car or even a broken cellphone, and people are encouraged by astrologers not to enter into anything new.
And this has the increasingly spiritual Freddy Fittler incredibly worried about tonights match.
“Look, I’m an Aquarius, and as you would well know, that means I’m well suited to problem solving, but you would also know that bad things happen during retrograde,” Fittler said.
“So, I’ve made sure we are all at the ground nice and early, so no mishaps can occur with transport or anything like that.”
“I think I’ve dotted the i’s and crossed the t’s.”
“Anyway, it’s in the hands of the stars now, let’s just hope that we’ve done enough earthing and reiki sessions to get us over the line.”
Fittler then ended the interview and walked off sipping his turmeric infused ginger Kombucha.
