Jaiydn Stephenson, the under-fire young Collingwood star has confirmed today that he isn’t sitting idle after his ban.
This comes after the 20-year-old 2018 Rising Star winner was suspended for 22 matches and fined $20,000 for placing a series of bets on games he was involved in.
While the 3 bets totalled only $36, and were placed through a friend’s account, the silly decision has ended up costing the young man a whole lot more money.
However, rather than let the ban and fine get the better of him, Stephenson has today spent his time researching a real humdinger of a multi, that he says could pay his whole fine off in one go.
“Yeah, have a look at it,” he said to us moments ago from the Rose, bringing up his 13 leg Korean Badminton multi.
“Fucking not bad aye, pretty hot don’t ya reckon?”
“I’m a bit nervous about a couple of legs, but I reckon I should know tonight whether it’s going to come off,” he laughed.
Stephenson explained that he spent a while researching the legs, but got some help from a mate from an online punting group.
“Yeah, obviously not that clued in the with league over there, but I had a bit of a look at the previous results and I reckon I’m a pretty decent chance,” Stephenson said.
“It’s definitely pretty good value I reckon.”
