Maroons great Justin Hodges continues his heavyweight boxing career this Wednesday, as he re-enters the ring at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion to take on his niece’s flakey boyfriend Wolfgang ‘Wolfie’ Grouse (23).
As a part-time bartender from the Gold Coast, Mr Grouse will be making his professional boxing debut, after agreeing to fight his misso’s uncle during a firey argument at Christmas.
The showdown between protective uncle and fuckboy boyfriend will be the undercard for another heated matter of family business, as Nikita Tszyu (younger brother of Tim, son of Kostya) takes on Ben Horn (younger brother of Jeff) as the main event.
However, the Grouse v Hodges fight is expected to draw millions of Kayo viewers, as the opportunity to watch of an old bull teaching a lesson to a cocky young buck resonates greatly with grumpy fathers and uncles around the country.
Speaking to The Betoota Advocate today Wolfie Grouse says he has absolutely no doubt that he will prove to Justin Hodges that his cockiness is warrant, and says he looks forward to replacing him at the top of the animal kingdom when it comes to family barbecues.
“Bruh. I’m a bartender. I know how to deal with unruly old men no cap for real” said the debut fighter.
“Ima be straight bussin. For real. For real”
Justin Hodges says that while he might have a few years on the old boy, he’s very confident that the kid has a severe case of too much weights not enough speed work.
“It’s time to teach these nail polish young clowns a lesson. I’m doing this for all the grumpy uncles around the country”
Justin Hodges will be walking out to DMX ‘X Gon Give It You’ – while his opponent will be walking out to this crazy new song he heard on Stranger Things called ‘Running Up That Hill’.
The Battle Of The Brothers: Watch as unbeaten Nikita Tszyu faces Ben Horn live on Wednesday 20 July from 7pm AEST on Kayo Sports or at the pub like a grown up.
