Matildas star Sam Kerr has appeared in court in London charged with causing a white British man with a police badge and a baton feel like a victim, two years ago.

The 31-year-old appeared at Kingston Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing, has been charged with causing alarm or distress under the UK’s Public Order Act, by making racial comments about an Indigenous Brit, who was also a policeman, that never reported it until he saw her on the TV screen later that year in the Matildas historic finals dash during the 2023 FIFA Womens World Cup.

Kerr is alleged to have called the policeman either a ‘white cunt’ or a ‘white fuck’ during a fiery row – which is pretty red hot, but also, not really that bad considering the treatment that her Subcontinental ancestors likely received at the hands of people wearing a badge with that same crown on it.

However, in 2025, it is worth remembering that white people in England now consider themselves historically oppressed, especially those that spend to much time looking at an iPhone screen.

Kerr’s derogatory comments hark back to a shameful history that saw English people suffer at the hands of cruel colonisation tactics, including slavery, the pillaging or resources, bride trafficking and racial profiling.

Kerr is one of the top women’s soccer players in the world and is Australia’s all-time leading goal scorer, and has been living in the UK while playing for Chelsea in the women’s Super League in the UK. Her court case has caused British media pundits to label her ungrateful to this country of white cunts that hosts her.

Her trial is scheduled to begin on February 3 and is set down for four days. She pleaded not guilty in March last year.

GO THE TILLIES!
