Space and Rugby League fans are today sharing a shared bond.
In a strange marriage of the universes, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration has released photos of a Rugby League phenomenon.
The exciting move has seen NASA publish photos of what the NSW Halfback is going to be seeing at about 8:21 pm AEST.
“It’s a remarkable discovery, to be able to go inside Nathan Cleary’s eyelids after he gets rattled by a rampaging Tino Fa’asuamaleaui,” explained the astronomer Daly Dearden-Hunt.
“It looks like he’s going to be Blinded by The Lights, without a TikTok account in sight,” laughed the scientist.
This comes as NSW and Queensland prepare for State of Origin Game III at a sold out Lang Park tonight.
With the series on the line and a full house at the spiritual home of Rugby League, it’s expected that the underdog Maroons are going to punch above their weight once again.
Given talisman Cameron Munster is out for the decider, it’s expected that some of the bigger boys in the middle are going to have to step up and enforce themselves on the Blues, who will inevitably shy away from a confrontation.
“Whether it’s a kick or a dart at the line, Big Country will be making sure that Nathan Cleary is getting a glimpse of the furthest regions of space,” said Dearden-Hunt.
“And then watch it all fall apart and the likes of Gus Gould blame the refs, the crowd, and everything in the universe for another series loss that ‘they should have one.'”
