Melbourne Stars all-rounder and shoulda-been test cricketer Marcus Stoinis has great pipes, it has been confirmed.
That’s according to a recent survey of female BBL fans and same-sex-attracted males BBL fans, and completely straight male BBL fans that are able to identify a Greek adonis when they see one.
The research was conducted by the Australian Cricket Board in an effort to find the most marketable Australian cricketer for their website and bus advertisements.
The results found a resounding skew towards the iconic Perth-born Leo, with over 98% of the 100,000 respondents pointing out that Stoinis has the most amazing pipes in Australian sport.
The survey found that this new status as household-name comes purely from his chiseled looks, and has nothing to do with the fact that on the 12th of January 2020 Stoinis scored 147 from 79 balls against Sydney Sixers, setting the new highest individual score in the Big Bash League.
Other findings revealed that not only would Australian fans appreciated seeing more of the Stoinis on marketing material, but would also appreciate more close ups on his pipes during live matches.
Kayo, Channel 10 and Foxtel have obliged these requests, but flagged that it may be inappropriate viewing for children.
