Prime Minister Scott Morrison has informed his wife that he hopes she doesn’t have anything planned this weekend.
Speaking to The Advocate this afternoon, Scomo explained that he’s told his staffers, and his family to clear his schedule for this weekend, cause he’s ‘Out of Office.’
“No I’m not going fishing,” he laughed.
“I’ve told the missus that I’m busy this Sunday, because I’m not missing Paul Graham’s final game at Shark Park for anything.”
“He’s been nothing but a servant for our great club, and let me tell you he was nothing short of otherworldly winning Origin this year,” Morrison said.
As a die-hard fan who grew up loving the Sharks during his childhood in the Eastern Suburbs attending Sydney Boys High, Morrison said he is in awe of the great man.
“Paul, I mean, what do you say, he’s given so much to the club and the community, and he deserves to run out for his final home game this weekend against the Raiders and just soak it all up,” he said.
“He’s an icon, and I’ll be forever grateful to him for turning the street light off for us.”
“So yeah, unfortunately, the cheese and kisses is going to have to accept the fact that I’m gonna have a couple of beers with the fellas and enjoy myself.”
He then walked off to a nearby cafe to ask if they had any pies.
