CRICKET AUSTRALIA ARE investigating an incident this afternoon after a toilet was smashed in the Australian team’s dressing room immediately after batsmen Usman Khawaja was dismissed for 97.
Initial reports suggest that Mr Khawaja may be responsible for the smashed toilet, as he was on the receiving end of a fairly dubious third umpire decision that saw him miss out on a much-needed century.
“The toilet was already smashed when I got back to the dressing room and it’s got nothing to do with me being caught in front on 97.” said the 29-year-old.
“My money is on Warner. Failing that, I’d say it was left over from yesterday when Nath[an Lyon] had a tough day. But yeah, nah, mate. Wasn’t me.”
The investigation is continuing.
More to come.
