Everyone’s favourite Rugby League team has today announced that they are keeping the good times going.
Fresh off another controversial loss, the Wests Tigers have revealed they will be commencing fresh legal action against the NRL.
Furious about the refereeing howlers that cost them victory in their 72-6 arm wrestle with the Sydney Roosters on Saturday night, the club says they are taking their issues all the way to the top.
“It’s disgraceful,” said Wests Tigers Chairman Lee Hagipantelis.
The move comes a few weeks after the club revealed it was going to sue the NRL for the two points they lost when they lost to the North Queensland Cowboys after the siren.
While no one could really understand the point of the Wests Tigers getting two points at the time, it’s since been acknowledged that it could keep them out of Wooden Spoon contention.
“There is disgusting big team bias in the NRL, and it’s costing battlers like us,” explained Hagipantelis.
“The NRL, the referees, and Uncle Nick, they are all conspiring against us, and robbing us of wins,” said the Chairman of a club that allowed 4 tries to a backrower.
“So, we are taking them to the Supreme Court, or the High Court, or whatever court we god damn feel like.”
The NRL has yet to respond to the announcement but may rely on expert evidence to demonstrate that they didn’t really have anything to do with the 66-point margin.
