The Abbott family has today conceded that it might be time to face reality.
Living on Sydney’s leafy North Shore, the family made up of Tony’s wife, three daughters and sister have had a hard chat today.
After his constant sniping and efforts to sculpt the Liberal Party into a mould of his making, Abbott has been left crushed today as his puppet and stooge Peter Dutton lost the leadership ballot.
So as a result, the family of the Chief White Ant of the Liberal Party have come together for a roundtable of sorts, to try and figure out what to do with him.
The Betoota Advocate can exclusively reveal that the consensus reached between the members of the Abbott family, is that Tony should be taken and admitted to a nearby Aged Care Facility down the road in Belrose.
Speaking collectively they told us that ‘dad’ has done his dash, and as much as they would love to have him around the home, the best place for him would be a nearby facility.
“Poor Tony. As I’m sure many of your readers are aware, he has become senile, and it’s not safe for him to look after himself in public,” they said to our reporters.
“So we have made the decision to tell him it’s time to head up to the oldies home.”
The family said that they would be sure to visit him regularly and make sure he was as comfortable as possible.
“I think we are going to take him to the final game Sea Eagles game of the season, so when they get the spoon, he will be so crushed that he might just agree to it and make things easy.”
“But knowing Tony, he never does. So let’s see how it goes.”
