A gibbering old bastard who works at the Betoota Heights branch of the Australian Tax Office is still unable to convert a PDF to a Word doc, something that’s critical to his job, after 30 years of doing fuck all on the public dollar.
Despite being shown how to do it daily since 1990, Darryl Smith said he’s still confused by the process and does what every other spoilt 70-year-old waste of space still working in an office does and get some other cunt do it for them.
“Why should I learn when I can just get some young bloke over to do it for me?” he asked our reporter.
“You know, it’s something you learn quickly in the public service. Nothing you get is based on merit. The only way to get ahead in this game is to be the most likeable – but least threatening person in the room. People want to keep you around, as long as you’re not gunning for your job,”
“And another thing, if you do something badly the first time, they won’t ask you to do it again. That’s the secret.”
Darryl then excused himself to go on some flex leave.
