Local retiree and part-time keyboard warrior Barry Kemp, 62, has been on a relentless social media campaign in support of former U.S. President Donald Trump, despite having absolutely no personal stake in American politics.

Barry, who is often found on Facebook engaging in heated debates with strangers about topics ranging from “rigged elections” to the deep state’s secret control of the world, has found that even though his steadfast loyalty to Trump seems to generate positive comments from his Facebook friends, half of whom are his mates, it’s only further alienating him from his daughter Jess, who’s had to unsubscribe from his posts after posting numerous AI images of Trump.

“I just don’t get it,” said Jess, shaking her head, “We’ve never even been to America? None of our relatives are from America. He has absolutely no personal stakes in the election whatsoever but he’s willing to die on that hill. It’s become his entire personality.”

Unfortunately for Jess, it appears that Barry has fallen down the ‘Sky News rabbithole’, which sees him obsessively searching for news that will make him angry.

“It’s like a disease, every damn day he’s going on about how Kamala Harris is a con artist or how the transgenders are taking over the world.”

“I asked him when was the last time he met a transgender person and he couldn’t tell me.”

Barry is so ferociously committed to Trump that he seems nonplussed at the idea of his daughter having nothing to do with him, stating that she’s just ‘another leftie brainwashed by the woke agenda.”

“Trump’s the best thing that’s ever happened to America.”

“I wish someone would make Australia great again.”
