ALP leader and prominent charisma vacuum Bill Shorten has today sent a strong message to the Australian voters by posing with a similarly bland Australian sports superstar.
Bill Shorten appeared alongside Jeff Horn in a surprise press conference in Brisbane City this afternoon, before explaining how his leadership inspired by Jeff Horn’s performances in the ring and overly boring demeanour.
“I just want, to say, to ummm, all the Australians out there…” said Shorten, as reporters began to yawn and look at their phones.
“You can be anything you want. You can be a champion boxer, or a fluke prime minister”
“This man is a testament to the fact that you can win the unwinnable without any decent one liners or even the remotest sense of humour”
The former welterweight world champion Horn and long-time Australian boxing icon Mundine will face off at Lang Park on Friday in what could be Mundine’s last-ever fight.
Horn comes into the fight as the heavily backed favourite even after his technical knockout loss to Terence Crawford in the WBO welterweight bout in June.
Jeff Horn followed Shorten’s comments with an equally boring spiel which eventually into him talking about warhammer and his mates new logistics company.
