Some European travellers outed themselves as absolute tourists by visiting Sydney and not even catching a glimpse of Parramatta road.

The visiting Von Dölsch family from the German city of Wischerberg claim to be lovers of arts and culture yet still chose to visit Sydney on a family holiday.

Jokes easier than an all-line game of Tetris aside, the Von Dölsch family did an absolutely appalling job at visiting Sydney, prioritising the touristy Opera House and Harbor Bridge over actual pieces of infrastructure where Sydneysiders toil daily.

“We saw the botanic garden,” stated dad Dieder Von Dölsch, who must come from a land without plants or something.

“But no, we didn’t see Parramatta road, is it famous for anything?”

With an understanding of the English language that is far too good to ever get a job as a journo in this country, the Von Dölsch family explained they had no interest in a day trip to Parramatta, even after we explained plans for it to become a second CBD and showed them pictures of Church Street Mall.

Our reporter then suggested if they wanted to stay closer to Sydney they could go to the 8th wonder of the world, Leichhardt Oval, a joke they did not laugh at either because they do not understand rugby league or simply because they are German.

MORE TO COME.
