A ‘Neighbours’ alum and self-described ‘actor’ has finally cracked the Big Time of American TV, after landing the coveted role of Unidentified Corpse #211 of hit US Crime Drama, N.C.I.S.
Tyson Michaels, who played teenage billionaire bad-boy with a heart of gold Michael Tyson on the long-running soap opera, has had a lifelong dream come true after it was confirmed by his management that he had been booked for a ‘critical role’ in the upcoming Season 15 season finale of the hit show.
“Honestly, this is one of the happiest days of my life”, said Tyson, in a press statement released on his Snap Story. “Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve only had one dream – to be a big Hollywood movie star. Now that I can finally confirm that I’m playing a lifeless body for 22 minutes on a TV show in America, I can honestly say my dreams have come true”
“I mean, it’s a huge deal! This is, BY FAR, the highest rated nautical-themed American crime drama that uses a 4-letter acronym for a name. And like, easily in the top 100 overall. It’s a show a lot of people watch!”
“And it’s not just any old part – it’s a critical role. I mean literally, my character gets critically injured by a falling McDonalds sign”
Mr. Tyson believes that this big break has come at the perfect time for his burgeoning career, and hopes to capitalise on this amazing momentum and turn his fledgling Hollywood career into full-blown superstardom.
“I’ve already got some amazing parts lined up off the back of this. Just yesterday I had someone from Woody Allen’s office contact me to play one of the dead guys in a morgue, in his latest movie about a 60 year old man who falls in love with a beautiful 24 year old blonde who works at a morgue”
“I had THE Michael Bay reach out to me about a cameo in Transformers 6: Revenge Of The Transformers From Transformers 2, as an average every-man who, in secret, is actually a dead corpse who got caught up in one of the giant robot battles”
“Hell, I even have a Spielberg script sitting in my trailer right now about a dead man who remains dead while his children go through an emotional journey of self-realisation. Can you believe that? A genuine Gary Spielberg original!”
With the offers rolling in, Tyson is already looking to the horizon, and hopes that by delivering a stellar performance on NCIS, he will be able to follow in the footsteps of some of his famous predecessors.
“I mean, look at the road I’m traveling on here. You have people like Margot Robbie, who started on Neighbours and is now such a huge megastar. I’m basically like a male Margot Robbie, but if Margot Robbie only got cast to play characters that lie really, really still”.
