It would seem that the Australian Prime Minister is now regretting his decision to tear his government apart in preparation for impressing world leaders at the COP26 Climate Summit in Glasgow this week, after his glorious appearance on the world stage was immediately dampened by a French President with an axe to grind.

It would seem Scotty has learnt the hard way that it is not a clever idea to treat the leader of one of Europe’s largest economies with the same contempt that he treats women who come forward with rape allegations against his colleagues.

The month of political turmoil that Scott Morrison put the Coalition through in an effort to reach a Net Zero agreement is now for nothing, after President Macron described our Prime Minister as a liar on the world stage. This all took place on day 1 of what looks like it will be a very long week in Europe.

Scotty From Marketing only decided to go to this climate summit so he could get photographed with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and US President Joe Biden, who he was hoping would give him a nice pat on the back for dragging his hillbilly colleagues kicking and screaming into climate action.

However, this was not to be the case.

Because on day one of this junket for world leaders, the French President Emmanuel Macron has openly accused Scott Morrison of lying about the $90 billion submarine contract that was cancelled six weeks ago.

This is the newest development in the break down of relations between France and Australia, ever since Scott Morrison announced a new security pact with the United States and United Kingdom because he thought getting photographed with them Biden and Johnson and talking about WAR would make him more electable.

Mr Macron said the PM’s actions were “detrimental to the reputation” of the country, and that he had never mentioned that he was thinking about pulling out of the contract before he eventually did, the night before he announced a new contract with the US and UK.

Mr Macron made the extraordinary accusation after being approached by the ABC on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Rome. This worsening rift between Australia and Europe has now implicated President Biden, who has since explained that he thought Scotty might have given the French a bit more of a heads up before bailing on their plan.

Scotty’s incredibly competent response as a world statesman was to gaslight the US President by saying he’s certain Biden’s administration were informed of his non-existent dealings with the French.
